5 Dual Designated Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs)

It has been projected that by 2020, we will become a majority minority nation. With this rapid change, more institutions will become Minority Serving Institutions and even achieve dual-designation status. This week’s Monday Morning MSI Line Up highlights 5 institutions that are already dual designated as Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). These institutions work to support high numbers of Hispanic and Black students.

1. City Colleges of of Chicago – Malcolm X College

2. El Camino College – Compton Center

3. Los Angeles Southwest College

4. West Los Angeles College
